My client, a parakeet breeder and fan of Asian architecture, commissioned this aviary, which houses up to 20 small birds. All the finishes are non-toxic water-bourne materials. I was especially pleased with the dragon crownpiece.

This commissioned piece featured custom finishes: Tinted and distressed silver leaf for the panels, and a waterbourne faux chinese red laquer for the frame.
